World maps

World maps using and combining the climate elements show climatic differences due to geographic features like altitude or proximity to the sea. Maps allow an evaluation not only of one special site, but of some 15,000 points, defined by their latitide, longitude and altitude. Climate distinctions given by the geografical situation can be read as can the potential of the wider surroundings.

World maps in ClimateTool allow the worldwide climate analysis with regard to energetic and room climatic questions. In this example the potential of night ventilation is analysed on a worldwide scale, representing those nights per year with mean values below 20 °C.
